To the surprise of this Adélie penguin, after filming some historical reconstruction on the ice in Antarctica, scientist Harry dressed as one of ‘Shackleton’s men’ came into view. Adélie penguins are such curious characters, they dash about looking at everything, but I suspect their eye-sight is not good - as they really get up close to get the measure of what they are looking at.

This image won the Shackleton Clothing and Leica camera ‘Capturing the Extreme’ competition in 2021.
Photographed in 2019, it has become an instant classic.

The giclée print is an open edition, printed, signed, stamped and personally checked over by me.
I also have produced a small-limited edition Platinum Palladium print.

I will get your print shipped to you as quickly as possible, it should arrive no later than 1-2 weeks after your order for all UK orders. Orders outside of the UK, or, the Platinum Palladium prints may take a little longer, I keep one Platinum Palladium print in stock and then print them to order.

Your print will be sent in a protective tube or flat packaging for smaller prints.
Inline with my environmental policy (unless requested otherwise), your print might be packaged in equally protective but repurposed packaging.

If the print is a gift, please let me know, I will make sure that the packaging is new and I am happy to include a hand written card on your behalf.
